Sweet Life was released on 19 August 2021 and followed seven Black friends who are navigating their careers and life in the city of Los Angeles. Apart from Briana, the show will feature Amanda Scott, Cheryl Des Vignes, Jerrold Smith II, Jordan Bentley, P’Jae Compton, and Tylynn Burns.

The show is created by Issa Rae, the famous actress, and producer, popular for Awkward Black Girl. On her Instagram, Briana said that she was grateful to Issa Rae for the opportunity. Interestingly, she also put a photo of her on a billboard with her friends as a promotion of Sweet Life.

Briana put her concern about being a part of a reality show because “People can make their assumptions about our real lives and that can be very scary, honestly.”
