ITV2 Love Island announced their cast for 2021 and Hugo Hammond is the first disabled individual to debut in a reality show. He joined the villa with OnlyFans model Shannon Singh, 22, luxury events host Aaron Francis, 24, Nando’s waitress Liberty Poole, 21, fashion blogger Kaz Kamwi, 26, and footballer Toby Aromolaran, 22.
However, his pals believed that though he might appear timid in the beginning, his “arrogant side” will appear later on. We are yet to see what fate has in store for the Hampshire native.

As one of his friends reflected and shared Hugo Hammond believed that he was on the bees’ knees and aimed to make a name for himself at the university. He often bragged about the female conquests and there also exists a video of Hugo from a few years back.

On his singlehood, Hampshire native had shared, “I’ve been single for a while now. I saw it as an opportunity to have an amazing fun summer and put myself back out there.”

Hugo Hammond was born with a condition called club foot also known as talipes. In this condition, a person’s foot or both feet turn in and under. He was born with a short Achilles tendon and needed surgeries to fix his club foot.
Talking about Hugo’s condition, his friend shared: “It means he walks on his toes, so it looks like he bounces slightly. But he’s never let it affect his confidence at all.”
But, Hugo never allowed his disability to bring him down. He found all the confidence he needed in his appearance and his glow-up after college.
